40 things I would tell my younger self.

  • Wash your face with cold water.

  • Cry and let yourself feel all the emotions.

  • You choose your days, don't forget that. Mindset, mindset, mindset.

  • Don't be afraid to say no, protect your sanity.

  • Invest some of your money and diversify your income.

  • Be gentle with your skin, Botox is expensive.

  • Save more money, your future self with thank you.

  • Wear sunscreen on your face and neck every day - even in the winter.

  • Don't take your animals time on earth for granted.

  • Walk through tough times with grace, not fear.

  • You will find that love, don't settle for less.

  • Honor your word. Do the things you say you will.

  • Learn, learn, learn. Knowledge is powerful.

  • Give someone your full attention when they are speaking.

  • Find a mentor in life and in your career path.

  • Volunteer more.

  • Don't limit yourself, if you believe you can, you will.

  • Travel and explore the world, it's good for the soul.

  • Move your body everyday - even if it is just for a lazy ab workout.

  • Stretch and practice yoga, your body will thank you when you're 30+.

  • Drink a bottle of FRESH juice a day, it's so important to get our daily nutrients.

  • Drink your daily amount of water, buy the big water bottle if you need to.

  • Always choose kindness.

  • Nurture healthy relationships.

  • Set aside time for you and your significant other, at least once a month sit down and talk about your dreams, passions, what you can do for each other and what you need from the other person.

  • Follow your passions and your heart always, it's not work when you love what you do.

  • Don't let what other people think or say affect you.

  • Always do what makes YOU happy.

  • Speak positively and kindly to yourself, self-gratification plays such a big role in who you are and will become.

  • You are not your thoughts; you are the thinker of your thoughts.

  • Don't be afraid to cut people out of your life.

  • Being alone is powerful - embrace it.

  • Changing jobs is scary, but being uncomfortable is where we grow.

  • Embrace change and adapt the 'go with the flow' attitude.

  • Spend your money more on experiences than materialistic things. Memories are priceless.

  • Journaling is a good way to get your feelings out, don't bottle yourself up.

  • Bad experiences doesn't mean a bad life.

  • Clean space = clean mind.

  • If you're unhappy, leave. Whether it's a relationship, job, degree, etc.

  • You don't need to best new thing.

Life is a rollercoaster.


Life is a rollercoaster, and we are all out here just trying to find our path and figure it out. Don't let someone else's path and actions determine how you go about yours. I wish I could say it was easy or gets easier, but every year brings new challenges. Embracing the challenges and change, walking through every day with grace and kindness, is sometimes easier said than done but making it your reflex will have you looking for the positive in every situation. Be yourself and love yourself!
