Every year we set out guns hoe with our list of new year's resolutions ready and determined to make this year our best year yet.
More often than not a few of those resolutions fall off this year's path and become a repeat resolution.

You always see those memes of the gym being packed the first couple weeks into the new year, then slowly the gym dwindles and goes back to normalcy.
When setting goals for the new year, the key is to set goals that will change your actions for the long term not ones that will changes your actions for a couple weeks. Manifest the life you dream of and set goals that gear towards it. This will give you motivation to continue working towards your goals.
Write your goals down and be specific, because how are you supposed to keep yourself accountable if you didn't write them down. It's something to reference back to.
Building habits and reaching your goals successfully is about changing your habits to maintain working towards those goals. When writing down your list of goals, think of effective ways and habits that keep you striving towards your goals for this year. It could also be a way to help you find steps in building up towards your goals.
If every year you're setting this goal of I'm going to get into the gym 3 times a week or whatever it may be, and it keeps failing maybe it's time to take a different approach.
For example, instead try setting a goal of I'm going to move my body 3 times a week whether it's going on a walk, going to the gym, doing yoga at home, or somedays it simply might be doing 20 pushups before bed.
Always remember your why. When you start fading in your goals, pull out your list or your 2023 vision board and remind yourself why you made these goals and how they will help manifest future you.
Prioritize yourself. Sometimes the busy world surrounding us, our friends, family, co-workers, whatever it may be have different ideas or plans. We get caught up in all the activities and sometimes forget to prioritize ourselves and our goals. When making room for everything and everyone in your life, don't forget yourself. Another reminder, just because your friends have different goals doesn't mean that's what your goals are supposed to look like. A big part of reaching goals is support, and you should be able to support each other in your goals even if they are polar opposite.
Lastly you have to commit and hold yourself accountable. If this is something that you typically struggle with, maybe one of your goals this year can be to more focused and disciplined in completing your tasks.
Don't forget to reward yourself! This does not mean every time you go to the gym you reward yourself with a brownie or drink. Reward yourself when you successfully went to the gym 1 month in a row 3 times a week or you completed every task on your to-do list for the week.
A friendly reminder that revamping your goals is okay. If you get halfway into the year or even a couple months or weeks into the year and realize a goal you set no longer fills your heart. Bring out your list and re-evaluate your goals, how can you fix them to fit the life you're manifesting.
My 2025 Goals
1. Focus more on the things that make my heart happy and me flourish, and less on the things that slow me down.
2. Looking for the positive in every situation and not letting things get to me. React less, process more. Life get's stressful, this year I am working on not letting situations I can't control stress me out. Stress causes lines, and I am trying to avoid aging lol.
3. Be more consistent and present in life. In working out, eating healthy, chasing my career dreams, and in my relationships. I want to be more consistent in giving my attention and effort into things that make me happy and less to things that drain me.
4. Business related. Close more deals in real-estate than 2024 and find more effective ways to reach potential clients and make authentic connections. Always keeping my eyes and ears open to new business opportunities. Find a commercial space for Fresh.
5. Visit more small businesses in town and spread awareness of them.
6. Elevate my physical, gut and mental health.
7. Inspire others to be the best version of themselves.
8. Be more intentional. In 2025 I want to be more intentional with my time, my money, and my actions.
9. Grow in love for myself and in my faith for God.
