Life Update: Two Dreams, One Heart

Life Update: Two Dreams, One Heart—Opening Fresh While Staying Rooted in Real Estate 💛

ree

Every so often, life gives you a moment to pause, reflect, and realize just how far you’ve come. This is one of those moments for me.

I’m thrilled (and honestly still a little in shock) to share that my juice company, Fresh, is officially opened its doors last Thursday, June 19th! 🎉

This surreal moment has been years in the making. Fresh began as a small seed of an idea during a season of life that started with a personal struggle — my hair, gut, skin, and nails were all telling me something wasn’t right. After many trials and errors, I was searching for a way to nourish myself from the inside out, and what began as a personal journey slowly grew into a passion to share that healing with others.

Fresh was born out of that pursuit — and it’s become so much more than juice. It’s about feeling good in your body, connecting with others, and creating something meaningful together. I started juicing in my own kitchen, operating under cottage food laws, and showing up at markets and pop-ups, not knowing exactly where it would lead—but believing in the vision all the same.

Now, that tiny seed has grown into something real. A storefront. A team. A place for people to come together over something as simple and powerful as a bottle of juice. It’s vibrant, it’s full of heart, and it’s built with intention.

But I want to be really honest about something, too:

Real estate is and always will be my number one passion and my full-time focus. 🏡It’s not just my career—it’s the vehicle that allowed me to dream this

dream into existence.

The truth is, I work hard in real estate because I love it, and because it’s given me the freedom to invest in other things that light me up. I’ve built strong relationships with my clients and poured everything I have into helping them find homes they love or sell homes with confidence. And thanks to that work—and the support of my incredible clients—I’ve been able to bring Fresh to life without ever losing sight of what matters most.

In fact, knowing how important real estate is to me and to the people I serve, I made the decision to hire an amazing employee to help run the day-to-day operations at Fresh. This gives me the ability to stay hands-on in my real estate business while knowing that the juice shop is in great hands.

This chapter is not about shifting away from real estate. It’s about honoring how far it’s taken me—and how beautifully it can coexist with other dreams. I don’t believe we have to choose one passion over another. I believe we can create space for both.

Speaking of passion projects, I’ve also taken some time lately to pour energy into another one close to my heart: The Business of Living Well podcast that I co-host with Alyssa. We’re currently on a little break, sharing solo episodes in the meantime, but we’ll be officially back with Season 2 in August—refreshed, recharged, and ready to bring you even more stories, conversations, and inspiration around living life with intention and impact. Soon we will also be launching The Wellness Collective—a series of in-person events hosted at Fresh, designed to build community and connection around wellness, creativity, and growth. These gatherings have been on our hearts for a while, and it feels so meaningful to bring them to life in a space we’ve dreamed up with so much care.

Whether you’re a longtime client, a juice lover, a friend, or someone who’s just followed along from afar—I’d love to see your face in Fresh sometime, share a toast to new beginnings, and show you what we’ve been building behind the scenes!

To my real estate clients: thank you for trusting me. You are the reason I get to do what I do. To my juice customers: thank you for believing in this colorful little business. To everyone who has supported me, cheered me on, or reminded me to keep going—you are part of this journey.

Here’s to doing life with purpose. To building things that matter. To believing that it’s possible to love more than one thing deeply—and to show up fully for all of it.

With endless gratitude, Tera
