I can build new for the same price as pre-owned?!

I feel like there is a controversy to buying/building a new home vs pre-existing, my job is to break down the differences for you!

Below I listed perks to building/buying a new home. Building/buying new is not always the best option for everyone, but that's my job to help you figure out what's best for you and give you all the helpful information! If you have been thinking about building, buying new, or buying pre-existing in the next year or 2 and have further questions feel free to call, text, email or dm me!

Would you prefer to build new or buy pre-existing?

  • new for sure

  • pre-existing

  • honestly just depends on my situation

Perks of buying/building new

#1 - You get to create your own architectural design, shifting floor plans to fit your needs.

If you like an extra bathroom near the kitchen, want a bigger walk-in closet, or want an extra 2 ft added to the back of your home, you can!

#2 - Not only do you get to design your home and the layout, but you get to pick all your finishes.

From light fixtures, flooring and tile to types of doors, paint, and countertops you can pick it!

#3 - You get to avoid buyer competition.

The last couple years have been tough for buyers especially in the $320k and under price range.

#4 - If you're in the $235k and up price range, I know a builder for you!

Wild to think, but you can currently build/buy a brand-new home for the same price as a pre-owned. AND a ton of builders are running great promotions right now!

#5 - The biggest plus in my eyes, low maintenance!

With a pre-owned home there’s no guarantee in the condition of major appliances, condition of foundation, and DIY upgrades being to code. With a new home you’re the first to use appliances, your home is up to code, and most builders the FM area have a 1-year warranty.

#6 - You could save money in the long run.

When buying new you won’t have to worry about replacing appliances, fixing the foundation, fixing the first homeowners mess ups, buying newer windows, install newer insolation, or fixing any plumbing issues.
