A Week in my Life

My chaotic life laid out for you

No week is the same for me.... and that's just how I like it!
I'll start with Sunday, yes I said Sunday, I know weeks start on Mondays haha.
This Sunday I started my day filling up with a yummy breakfast pancakes, eggs, toast, and bible verses.
Next was some much-needed deep cleaning, and no it wasn't just because I had family coming this week.... Life has been productive lately, so it was needed regardless! However, we did manage to get the garage and storage closet organized along with the usual Sunday cleaning tasks.
I don't know about you, but I always like to shower after I've eaten and cleaned, so next I showered.
Then, I headed to my Open House and set up to host! I usually bring some juice samples, property description sheets, a sign in sheet, my camera, computer, and business cards!
After my open house and with the weather still being gorgeous, it only felt right that I get in a round of golf!
Moving on to Monday morning, I typically start my week of with The Elm Group team meeting downtown at our office. I love starting my week off with our meeting, I feel like it sets a good mindset for the week! This week I hopped online and listened instead because.....
This week I got the opportunity to start my week off with a Golf tournament for Bar Down! It was such a beautiful day, and no, we did not win. But yes, I did golf an amazing round and get a good sunburn.
After the golf tournament I hopped over to Casselton at 5:00 pm to take listing pictures for a fellow agent. My passion for photography and real estate have collided and I am riding the wave and loving it! It's such an amazing feeling knowing a fellow agent trusts me with their upcoming listings pictures, especially when they were referred by someone who also loved my pictures. Pictures are the first thing a buyer sees when looking for homes, so I've invested in a new editing software, invested in a new wide-angle lens, and am excited to run with my passion helping sellers and fellow realtors.
My day didn't end there! Listing photos took me about and 1.5 hours, and after I finished up with photos, I headed back to Bar Down to reunite with my golf team for a victory drink. (no, I did not drink during the tournament before photos).
Then home I went for a quick snack and to sink into my bed!
Tuesday started off with another team meeting with The Elm Group! We have 3 meetings a week, each tailored to a different topic and discussion.
After the team meeting, I spend the next couple hours editing photos and knocking out some of my to-do list for the week!
Once photos were sent off and 2 items were checked off my list, I started to get ready for the First Time Home-Buyer Class we hosted at Drekker!
I headed to Drekker at 5:00 pm to help set up, and I ended up staying until 9:00 pm or so talking with clients and friends who attended, as well as connecting with randoms out by the fire. (ps. try the ice cream!!!)
Wednesday mornings I usually make my way down to Brewhalla to the Start-Up Brew, if you haven't attended, I highly suggest. It's such an inspiring and fun way to start off the day! This week I was unable to attend, as I was headed to take more listing photos for a different fellow realtor.
After photos I went to pick my aunt up whose visiting from Washington, and we got lunch at Plaza Azteca... I'm obsessed.
She had yet to see my 'new' house, so I brought her over and we sat for a while talking while I edited photos from the morning. MULTITASKING is my middle name haha.
After hanging out for a bit I headed out to Buffalo, ND to show some new clients a home!
Then I headed back into town and stopped by my dad's house to hang out with him and my aunt for a couple hours sitting outside chatting, and yes while I finished editing photos.
Only thing I needed after this day was my bed!
This morning was started off with our last Elm Group meeting for the week, we talked about the homebuying class and things that we could do better for the next time, and things that were perfect this time around.
After hopping off the meeting I hopped onto Flex MLS and started a New Listing that goes live later today and finished uploading photos!
I am NOW currently writing this blog :)
After finishing up with this blog, I will go post it and hop back on Flex and make sure the listing is g2g and go active with it!
Then getting ready to meet a girlfriend for coffee to hear about her new ventures!
Tonight and every Thursday night I get to end my day with softball and come home to a crash in bed!
Tomorrow I will stop by my dads to say goodbye before they head back to Washinton.
I have a showing over in Moorhead with an investment client early afternoon, and..
Then, I will be juicing for 2 or so hours for a couple clients and to bring for my family this weekend!
.... and then another golf tournament starting at 5:15 pm with past clients from Wahpeton! (I promise I don't golf this much every week even though I wish I did haha).
After golfing I plan to head to my moms lake and spend the pre-4th weekend with my family!
AND that's my chaotic life! I am someone who loves filling their calendar and loves being productive, and every week I am trying to do just that! Filling my calendar is key! If you are going to have a chaotic life, at least have a calendared one. Yes, there are some weeks when I feel the burnout coming and take it slower. But that is a part of being human, and we have to remember to listen to our body before were stuck in bed sick as a dog because our body can't keep up.
I hope you have a fun 4th!
Going forward I hope you make a point to fill your calendar with all the things you love!
